Viking Billing Sevices scam practices
- False claim
Viking Client Services Customer Care Review
Rude, arrogant, not serious about collecting
I dealt with them over a fender bender with Hertz. I thought Hertz had simply charged my credit card for the fix, but apparently they farmed it out to Viking for collection.
Viking did not behave in a serious manner regarding collection of the debt. They preferred to argue, insult, and act in a belligerent manner. There is a real lack of professionalism and they are certainly not trustworthy in their behavior.
My recommendation is to simply refuse to deal with them. Call whomever they are collecting for and pay them directly.

Viking Client Services Debt Collection Review
Bad Client Services
I was shocked to get a call from this company with absolutely no contact from the original company (AVIS) about a claim they supposedly have against me - the person calling said they wanted it taken care of today. No way - I'm still waiting for him to email some proof of the claim and who the heck he is anyway.
I had to look them up. He started asking for personal address information which I refused to provide him while I was still waiting for proof from him.
I am rather upset by this whole ordeal and think AVIS better find a better route. I am likely pulling my company account from AVIS due to this incident.
Horriable
Attempt To Collect

This company is horrible
All you have to do is tell who is calling you, that you DISPUTE this debt. Tell them nothing more. And most time the account will be returned to the Original Creditor. They will ask you what are disputing but tell them nothing.
If you decide to pay the bill, call them at the end of the month, I would say 2nd to last business day of the month--The collector will give you a Better Settlement because the debt collector works on commission and will do what it takes to get the deal done-- Look for a settlement about 30 cents on the dollar. Don't forget if you save more than $600 on the Settlement you could pay taxes on the forgiven amount 1099c
If they really *** you off go to http://www.consumerfinance.gov/ and submit complaint
and/or contact the Orignial creditor and tell them how you are being treated by Viking.
And don't forget Your States Attorney General!

Hi, I'm having the same exact issue with Avis and Vikings. Can you comment on how your experience ended?
